Marble Floor Restoration & Polishing in Boca Raton, FL

A floor that shines because the stone is restored

Marble is one of the most beautiful floors a home can have, and one of the most sensitive. Foot traffic, sand, spills and the wrong cleaning products slowly wear down the surface until it looks dull, scratched and uneven. Mopping more often does not fix it: the wear is in the surface of the stone, so the stone itself has to be restored.

Our floor polishing service brings that surface back. Depending on the condition of the floor, we combine grinding, honing and polishing in progressive steps with diamond abrasives and stone-specific polishing compounds, until the marble recovers a smooth, even finish and a clear reflection. The result is a floor that looks like the stone it really is, not a coating sitting on top of it.

We polish marble, travertine and limestone floors in homes, condos and commercial spaces across South Florida and Central Florida, as well as marble flooring on board yachts.

Signs your stone needs marble floor polishing

  • Dull or cloudy paths in high-traffic areas
  • Scratches and scuffs that catch the light
  • Etch marks from wine, citrus or acidic cleaners
  • Uneven edges between tiles (lippage)
  • Stains and discoloration

How we approach marble floor polishing

Every project starts with understanding the stone. These are the steps a typical marble floor polishing project follows.

  1. 01

    Assessment

We identify the type of stone and the kind of wear, then recommend the level of work your floor actually needs.

  2. 02

    Protection

Baseboards, cabinets, furniture and adjacent surfaces are protected before any work begins.

  3. 03

    Grinding and honing

Diamond abrasives remove scratches, etching and lippage, working through progressively finer grits.

  4. 04

    Polishing

The surface is refined to the finish you choose, from a soft honed look to a refined polished finish, depending on the stone.

  5. 05

    Sealing and care

When appropriate we apply a penetrating sealer and explain how to keep the floor looking its best.

How often should a marble floor be polished?

It depends on traffic and care. Many homes only need a full restoration every few years, with lighter polishing in the busiest areas in between. During the assessment we will tell you what your floor actually needs.

Can you remove etch marks and scratches?

In most cases, yes. Etching and surface scratches are removed during honing and polishing. Deep chips or cracks may need a repair first, which we also handle.

Is the shine a wax or a coating?

No. We polish the stone itself, so the shine comes from the marble. We do not rely on waxes or topical coatings that wear off and can make a floor look plastic.

Do I need to leave my home during the work?

Usually not. We isolate the work area and keep the process as clean as possible. If an area needs to stay off-limits for a few hours, we will let you know in advance.
